Bio

Hey my name is Devin Morgan . I was born and raised in Southwest Louisiana in the little town of Lake Charles. I attended small private catholic schools for most of my life up until college. I’m currently attending McNeese State University, where I’m studying art. I started college with the thought firmly implanted in my brain that I should do something with art. I funnily stumbled onto printmaking by word of mouth during my first semester and planned on taking it the next semester. That same semester I got a chance to meet Larry Schuh, the printmaking professor, and see Lloyd Menard as guest lecturer. Meeting artists and seeing their works was kind of a shock to the system. After my first real print I was hooked and found a direction in which to take my art. Life at the moment is kind of weird because I don’t yet know where I am going artistically or where I am going to go after I graduate from McNeese. I do know at this point that I want to learn and experiment with many different types of printmaking. This little site here is going to be my online gallery where I will post my prints from through out my printmaking career. I hope that you enjoy them and feel free to make comments.
